It is also compatible with Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 SP4, XP SP2 and above (32 & 64 bit), Server 2003 (32 & 64 bit), Server 2008 / 2008 R2 (32 & 64 bit), Vista (32 & 64 bit), 7 (32 & 64 bit), 8, 8.1, and 10.

The module includes a USB driver IC (CH340) for stable performance and full compatibility with USB1.1, USB2.0, and USB3.0, as well as a baud rate up to 256 kbps.

The RS232 bus IC is SP232, an industrial grade RS232 conversion IC.

The module has a USB to RS232 serial port with 3 pin pin assignment: GND TX RX, and a USB to TTL serial port with 6 pin assignment: GND 5V RXD TXD CTS DTR.
